The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 impresses thanks to its expansive 49-inch curved OLED display and lightning-fast 240Hz refresh rate. Though pricey, its gorgeous display quality, immersive field of view, and host of Samsung TV and gaming apps make this gaming monitor a winner.

The Samsung G95SC is incredible for gaming, combining a 240Hz refresh rate and outstanding picture quality. It has a near-instantaneous response time that leads to minimal motion blur and low input lag for a responsive feel. It also has VRR support to reduce screen tearing. It supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so you can use it with any HDMI 2.1 graphics card, but it doesn't support 4k @ 120Hz from consoles. On the plus side, its 32:9 aspect ratio lets you view more of your game at once as long as the game supports this aspect ratio, and blacks are deep and inky in dark rooms thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is a superb OLED gaming monitors that pushes PC gaming to the next level. In particular, this panel's excellent picture quality, immersive scale, and HDR chops make it very appealing. In my opinion, this is quite simply as good as gaming monitors currently get.

Samsung has just raised the bar for gaming monitors. The new Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G93SC takes its already outstanding QD-OLED panel tech and stretches it out to epic 49-inch, 32:9 aspect proportions. The results are suitably stupendous. But we'd probably still prefer the more mainstream 21:9 alternatives.

It's pricey, but the slim, feature-rich Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is a feast for the eyes and the ultrawide monitor to beat for immersive PC gaming.
