Google Pixel Watch 3

Honestly, I was never sure the Pixel Watch would get to this point. No one would’ve been shocked if Google threw in the towel after the first Pixel Watch or refused to put in years of work to compete with Samsung, let alone introduce new, industry-first features. But here we are, three years later, and I genuinely think the Pixel Watch 3 does certain things better than its rivals. Color me impressed and excited to see where the Pixel Watch 4 goes next.

Google’s third iteration of the Pixel Watch is a winner, particularly the new, larger 45mm model which sports a 40% larger screen than its predecessor and offers up to 48 hours of battery life per charge (compared to just 24 hours for the 41mm Pixel Watch 3). Plus, you get loads of advanced insights into your sleep quality, wellness and workout training habits, including several handy new metrics borrowed from Fitbit Premium, like a daily Readiness score.

The Pixel Watch 3 is a fine-tuned improvement over the Pixel Watch 2 and a worthy upgrade from the first-generation Pixel Watch. The 45-mm version is gorgeous.

The Pixel Watch 3 is another step in the right direction for Google's smartwatch. With its new running tools, workout intensity metrics and additional smart features, Google continues to fill in the gaps left by the previous models, resulting in a well-rounded smartwatch slightly skewed toward runners.
